About Electrolysis
- Procedure. A
fine probe is inserted into the follicle (a natural pathway into the skin). Permanent hair removal is accomplished
by destroying the lower 2/3 of the follicle and the surrounding
hair germinating cells.
- Methods for Permanent Hair Removal. Galvanic (a chemical process); Thermolysis (a heat process); Blend (combination of Galvanic & Thermolysis).
- 3 Stages of Hair Growth. Anagen (actively growing stage; the follicle
achieves its deepest length). Catagen (changing stage; transitory phase between growth
and rest). Telogen (resting state; follicle remains in a stage
of inactivity until it is stimulated to begin a new cycle).
